Ingredients:

  • 12 oz pasta (your choice, like spaghetti or fettuccine)
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper (to taste)
  • Fresh parsley (chopped, for garnish)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, saving about 1/2 cup of pasta water for later.

  2. Cook the shrimp: Heat the Platinum Jumbo Gourmet Skillet on medium-high heat and add the olive oil. Once hot, add the shrimp, season with salt, and black pepper. Sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until they are pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.

  3. Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add butter and melt it on medium heat. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. Create the creamy sauce: Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Add the heavy cream and stir. Let it simmer for 4-5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  5. Add cheese and combine: Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. If the sauce becomes too thick, add the reserved pasta water a little at a time to reach your desired consistency.

  6. Mix pasta and shrimp: Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce. Then, return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss again until everything is evenly combined and heated through.

  7. Serve: Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and red pepper flakes for a bit of heat, if desired.

  8. Enjoy: Serve hot and enjoy your creamy, flavorful pasta made with your Platinum Jumbo Gourmet Skillet!
