THE PLATINUM STORY
Saville Kellner's father, Abe, invested in a small cookware factory in Cape Town, South Africa called Nutri-Stahl in 1970 where he held a 5% ownership. During his holidays, Saville would work at the factory packing sets in the warehouse.
In 1979, as the political turmoil in South Africa intensified, Abe set up Lake Industries in Santa Barbara, California with the intention of emigrating to the US. Tragically, Abe was diagnosed with cancer and passed away in 1981, leaving Saville an orphan after the loss of his mother, Winnie, when he was only 13 years old.
Despite these hardships, Saville was determined to honor his father's wishes and made the journey to Santa Barbara, California. He had hoped to study at the University of California, Santa Barbara but with limited funds, he had to find work to make a living. He answered an advertisement for Lifetime Cookware and began selling the product through in-home dinner parties. However, he soon realized that retailing was not his strong suit and decided to become a wholesaler instead, helping talented retailers establish their businesses and sell cookware at substantial profits.
Over the last 45 years, Saville has poured his heart and soul into growing Lake Industries into one of the leading suppliers in the direct sales health and wellness industry, with hundreds of millions of dollars in sales across 30 countries worldwide.
Saville's ultimate goal is to continue to help create more dealerships globally and bring substantial wealth to Platinum Cookware dealers, striving to make a positive impact in the world.
