Ingredients (Serves 4)

For the Patties

  • 1 lb (500g) ground beef (80/20 blend for juicy burgers)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

For the Toppings

  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 large red onion, sliced into rings
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Pickles

For the Sauce

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard

For Assembly

  • 4 burger buns, toasted
  • Butter for buns (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Platinum Grill Pan
Heat your grill pan over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes until evenly hot. The Platinum Grill Pan’s design ensures heat distribution for perfect grilling.

  2. Prepare the Patties

    • In a bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
    • Gently mix until just combined (avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender).
    • Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties slightly wider than your buns (they'll shrink slightly when cooked).
  3. Grill the Patties

    • Place the patties on the preheated Platinum Grill Pan. Grill for 3–4 minutes on each side for medium doneness or longer for well-done burgers.
    • During the last minute, place a slice of cheese on each patty to melt.
  4. Grill the Onion Rings

    • After removing the patties, add the onion rings to the pan. Grill for 1–2 minutes per side until they are soft and have lovely grill marks.
  5. Prepare the Sauce

    • In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, ketchup, and Dijon mustard.
  6. Assemble the Burgers

    • Butter and toast the buns on the Platinum Grill Pan (optional).
    • Spread the sauce on both halves of the buns.
    • Layer the bottom bun with lettuce, a slice of tomato, grilled patty with cheese, grilled onion, and pickles. Top with the other bun half.
  7. Serve and Enjoy
Serve your burgers hot with your favorite sides like fries, coleslaw, or a fresh salad.
