Ingredients:
- 2 lbs chicken thighs and drumsticks
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup white vinegar
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp whole black peppercorns
- 3 bay leaves
- 1/2 cup water (optional, for non-marinated versions)
Instructions:
- Place chicken pieces in the Platinum Professional Large Skillet.
- Add soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, peppercorns, and bay leaves over the chicken. Mix gently.
- Cover the skillet with the lid and cook on medium heat until the vapor seal forms.
- Reduce to low heat and allow it to cook for 20-25 minutes. The chicken will release its juices.
- Optional: If you want a darker and caramelized sauce, remove the lid, set heat to medium-high, and simmer to reduce the sauce.
- Serve warm with steamed rice.
