Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs and drumsticks
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp whole black peppercorns
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup water (optional, for non-marinated versions)

Instructions:

  1. Place chicken pieces in the Platinum Professional Large Skillet.
  2. Add soy sauce, vinegar, garlic, peppercorns, and bay leaves over the chicken. Mix gently.
  3. Cover the skillet with the lid and cook on medium heat until the vapor seal forms.
  4. Reduce to low heat and allow it to cook for 20-25 minutes. The chicken will release its juices.
  5. Optional: If you want a darker and caramelized sauce, remove the lid, set heat to medium-high, and simmer to reduce the sauce.
  6. Serve warm with steamed rice.
