Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 package shelf‑stable or refrigerated gnocchi

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

  • 1 cup tomato sauce

  • 1/2 cup light cream or half‑and‑half

  • 1 teaspoon dried basil

  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Fresh basil for garnish


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in your Platinum skillet over medium heat.

  2. Add the gnocchi and sauté for 3–4 minutes until lightly golden.

  3. Add the onion and cook until softened.

  4. Stir in the garlic and cherry tomatoes; cook until the tomatoes begin to burst.

  5. Add the tomato sauce, cream, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.

  6. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5–7 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the gnocchi.

  7. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
