Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • Salt and pepper

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan

  • 8 ounces fettuccine (or any pasta)

  • 1 cup pasta water

  • 1 tablespoon butter

  • Optional: parsley


Step‑by‑Step Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta Boil pasta until just shy of done. Reserve 1 cup pasta water.

  2. Sear the chicken Heat oil in your skillet. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Cook until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

  3. Make the Alfredo base Add butter and garlic to the skillet. Cook 30 seconds. Pour in heavy cream and simmer 2 minutes.

  4. Add Parmesan Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.

  5. Combine everything Add pasta and chicken back to the skillet. Add pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

  6. Serve Top with parsley if you want.
